NOPD Identifies Suspect in Seventh District Domestic Aggravated Battery

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Dawn Mosley (DOB: 12-01-1973) in the investigation of a domestic aggravated battery incident reported on April 27, 2019 at the intersection of Dwyer and Bundy roads.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives determined that the victim and Mosley were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the victim attempted to leave. At that time, Mosley allegedly began striking the victim, causing scratch marks and bruising. The victim fled the area in an attempt to seek help. However, Mosely reportedly found the victim and began arguing again. Mosley then allegedly became irate, placed her keys in her hand with the keys protruding between her fingers and began striking the victim again, causing scratch marks about the body and a deep cut to his left forearm. Mosley then reportedly fled the scene.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Dawn Mosley is asked to contact NOPD Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070, or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
