The following is a weekly report of citywide crime statistics compiled by the NOPD Analytics Unit for the period of August 20-26, 2023. Please note that these figures are preliminary and subject to further analysis and revision.
The NOPD’s Traffic Division will conduct an upcoming sobriety checkpoint in Orleans Parish on Thursday, September 7, 2023. The checkpoint will operate between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, and 5:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8.
